What's new in MPC 1.42
- VOLUME CONTROL! Use your phone's volume buttons to change MPD's volume while the app is open.- UI overhaul mainly around changing to a proper tab implementation. Should run faster, look nicer and be compatible with more devices.
- Soft settings button added
- Click current tab to return to top level navigation
- Bug fixes
NOTE:Password support for MPD access is not planned because it is insecure. However please request this feature if it is important to you and I will implement it.
MPC Permissions
Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internetView network connections - allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected
