Die naturwissenschaftlichen Erlebnistage - Explore Science 2016Seit 2006 veranstaltet die Klaus Tschira Stiftung jährlich die naturwissenschaftlichen Erlebnistage EXPLORE SCIENCE im Luisenpark Mannheim. Hier können junge Wissbegierige und alle, die sich ihre Neugier bewahrt haben, selber forschen, experimentieren, ausprobieren und entdecken. Das Angebot für Kindergartenkinder, Schüler und Familien reicht von interaktiven Ausstellungen über zahlreiche Mitmachangebote für alle Altersklassen, Workshops und Bühnenshows bis zu Experimentalvorträgen und Wettbewerben.
Mit Explore Science möchte die Klaus Tschira Stiftung bei jungen Menschen das Interesse an naturwissenschaftlichen Themen wecken. Zentrales Anliegen hierbei ist, dass den Kindern und Jugendlichen keine Antworten "serviert" werden, sondern sie die Möglichkeit haben naturwissenschaftliche Phänomene selbst zu entdecken.

Welche Ziele verfolgt Explore Science?
- Interesse und Begeisterung junger Menschen für naturwissenschaftliche Themen wecken.
- Aktive Einbindung von Schulen und Schülern als "Experten" - Wissensvermittlung und Präsentation "von Schülern für Schüler".
- Forschend-entdeckendes, selbstgesteuertes, kooperatives Lernen ermöglichen.
- Neueste Erkenntnisse und Entwicklungen aus Forschung und Technik präsentieren.
- Altersstufen-, fächer- und schulartübergreifender Dialog.
- Vernetzung beispielhafter Ideen.
Mit der Explore Science-App plant ihr euren eigenen Veranstaltungsbesuch. Mitmachstationen, Bühnenprohramme, Wettbewerbe oder Workshops, sucht euch raus was euch interessiert. Die App leitet euch durch den Park und gibt euch zu allen Angeboten interessante Hintergrundinformatione zu Experimenten, Partnern und Partnerschulen.

Full network access - allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. the browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet
Precise location (gps and network-based) - allows the app to get your precise location using the global positioning system (gps) or network location sources such as cell towers and wi-fi. these location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power
Retrieve running apps - allows the app to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. this may allow the app to discover information about which applications are used on the device
Find accounts on the device - allows the app to get the list of accounts known by the device. this may include any accounts created by applications you have installed
Full license to interact across users - allows all possible interactions across users
Record audio - allows the app to record audio with the microphone. this permission allows the app to record audio at any time without your confirmation
Control near field communication - allows the app to communicate with near field communication (nfc) tags, cards, and readers
